Every day that my Maya is healthy and well, it is a blessing for us and I am grateful...She has been through so much...and I am amazed to witness her ability to heal, move on and enjoy life...
In the morning, on our way to the kindergarten, we watch the ants marching, taking food to their home, smell the dewy grass and look at the gorgeous cactus growing near the school's fence.
Thank you God for my beautiful and wise daughter and believe me, I struggle everyday to learn my lessons and to accept my karma...

I Am Not Here

The past couple of weeks we had all kind of problems, health, physical, phychological, existential ones, you know, the whole lot. Plus a terrorist attack. I tried to cope with them the best I could - panicking, crying etc...In the end, as a last resort I turned to my best friends: the books.
And I found this fantastic, fabulous world populated with gorgeous men (and I mean absolutely yummy, mind boggling, beautiful men) and their women...I world where the Good defeats the Evil (well, most of the time), wild men are tamed by strong willed women, and there is that" happily ever after" that my thirsty soul longs for...
So, I am going away for a while where the Dark Hunters dwell.

I am talking about Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Dark Hunters" series, of course.

Gifts From My Daughter

My daughter Maya is such a sweet and altruistic child - I think she could teach me a lesson or two...Whenever she goes outside with her daddy, she brings me "gifts". At home, whenever she feels I am sad she "makes" gifts for me.

Here are the last ones I received: the result from a stroll in the park and a "birthday gift", as you can see, in Maya's eyes I am five years old (the red bits are "birthday candles").

Thank You, in All The Possible Languages

This year, at Easter, I understood I am really blessed...It doesn't matter that I feel desperate down and alone sometimes, I am now sure that extraordinary people exist. And you know what the fantastic thing is? They are not even related to me...and more than that, most of them some of them don't even know me personally.

As you may know if you are a reader of this blog, it has been very difficult to live here, in Israel, especially around major Christian holidays. And if Christmas was somehow adopted, at least, by the Russians living here, at Easter I haven't been able to find chocolate eggs or chocolate bunnies. I know I stubornly insist of keeping Christian holidays as well as the Jewish ones, but that's me...donkey headed.

And so, because I kept moaning and groaning and crying all over the internet, some absolutely phenomenal people sent us Easter stuff, an abundance of it...And it is my place here to say in my name and in Maya's too, a HUGE "THANK YOU" from the bottom of our hearts.

So, my dear-dear friend and angel from Romania - Agy; my bloggy friend Ago from Hungary, Iuliana and Raluca, two virtual friends from a Romanian forum. we thank you.

But, the biggest surprise this year came from my mother! It is the first time she sent Maya something....but I won't suspect her for having a hidden agenda or something....I am as grateful as I can be.

I cannot tell you how happy you all made my daughter, and for that, I am for ever grateful.

Thank you!

Multumesc!

Koszonom!
